Isfahan and Dakar Chambers of Commerce will sign a Memorandum of Understanding

In an online meeting held between Isfahan and Dakar Chambers of Commerce aiming to review business and investment opportunities, where Iranian Ambassador to Senegal, two members of the Board of Directors of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Dakar Chamber of Commerce attended, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the two Chambers
According to the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce Public Relations, in this meeting, Mohammad Reza Dehshiri, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Senegal, referring to the 12-year history of sisterhood between Isfahan and Dakar, said: "This opportunity should lead to an economic interaction between the two countries." Considering the existing potentials in Isfahan, pointing to available potentials in various fields for joint venture, he proposed signing of a MOU between the Isfahan and Dakar Chambers of Commerce with the aim of improving trade between the two sides.

At the beginning of the meeting, Bahram Sobhani, Senior Vice President of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, expressing his gratitude for the dialogue arrangement between Isfahan and Dakar Chambers of Commerce, highlighted the province's potential in steel, agriculture, textile, tourism, food and export capacities.
He also added: Knowledge-based companies in Isfahan could meet Senegal’s technical and technological requirements.
Fereshteh Amini, a member of the board directors of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, considered the appointment of representatives by the Isfahan and Dakar chambers of commerce to accelerate and facilitate the interactions of the parties in order to increase trade relations.

Abdullai Sow, President of Dakar Chamber of Commerce, expressed the interest of Dakar Chamber of Commerce to provide cooperation between businessmen and economic activists of Isfahan and Dakar and specified: "By concluding a MOU between the two sides, a win-win interaction can be reached."

Emphasizing that we are interested in using the effective experiences of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, he mentioned joint ventures as one of the proposals of the Dakar Chamber.
Introducing the technical and vocational training center with a century of experience in Dakar, Sow said: "In this academy, many activities have been done to empower economic actors, especially in the field of trade, and we are ready to transfer experiences and cooperate with Isfahan in this regard."

The head of the Dakar Chamber of Commerce also pointed out that Dakar is not self-sufficient in the agricultural sector and expressed their desire to establish mutual interaction in the field of various agricultural products, especially wheat and rice.
He also emphasized that construction-related activities are underway in Dakar and said: "In the field of construction and industry, we want to interact with our Iranian counterparts and welcome investors in these areas."
Alireza Salarian, Head of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Isfahan, expressing his hope that with the excellent guidance of the Iranian Ambassador to Senegal, said he would look into the growing economic relations and public diplomacy of the two sides.

He announced the readiness of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Isfahan as a bridge between the Iranian Embassy in Senegal and the business related organizations in Isfahan.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the draft MOU between the Isfahan and Dakar Chambers of Commerce would be prepared by Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and to be signed after the approval of the Dakar Chamber.
