An “introduction to Oman” Conference

Oman, a country with unique advantages.
Arezoo Jamali Nazari, Secretary General of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce, in this session which was held in Esfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) said: “unique political relations in the region, ease of company registration with Iranian shareholders, 100% foreign ownership company registration in the free zones, free trade agreements and a bridge to global market for export are the exclusive features of Oman.
Secretary General of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce stated that Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan and Mashhad have the most export value to Oman and continued: “Oman is 100% consumer and in search of products with high quality and low price.”
She presented Oman as a kingdom with 12% GDP growth rate, 0.4% inflation rate and 16% unemployment rate and clarified: “the currency of Oman is the third most powerful in the world.”
Secretary General of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce said: “Oman ranks second in terms of economic risks, its ease of doing business ranks 67th out of 189 countries, and its competitiveness ranks 47 between 146 countries.”
Jamali Nazari called production, logistics, fisheries, mine and tourism to be the main fields for investment in Oman and emphasized: “Isfahan province can benefits from exporting mineral products to Oman Considering its great potentials in this area.”
