In this session, Masoud Golshirazi, President of ECCIMA mentioned to the Supreme Leader’s recent speech and called the cultural and social values as the requisite of economic power. He continued: “the interaction between industries –as the production centers- and universities –as the cultural and social centers- is crucial for creating a strong and productive economy.”
Golshirazi stated that the lack of practical knowledge in the industrial units caused the lack of consistency of organizations and therefore ECCIMA is putting efforts to fix this deficiency. He expressed the hope that the presence of elites and expertise human resources will bring a knowledge flow in the economic units of the province.
President of ECCIMA declared that Esfahan Province is in need of making an effective mechanism for interaction of university and industrial units more than anytime. Since the economic growth without cultural and social values is impossible.
Hushang Talebi, Esfahan University Chancellor, in this session pointed out the history of collaboration between Esfahan University and Esfahan Chamber of Commerce and said: “the previous collaborations were project based and upon needs but we are going to make the infrastructure for interaction between two parties.”
He considered the creation of this joint Think-Thank as the first step toward the core activities and a clear outline of future horizon and emphasized on the necessity of future-oriented thinking. He made it clear that this think-thank can define Treats and Opportunities especially under the critical sanctions.
Chancellor of Esfahan University highlighted the importance of future market needs evaluation as the prerequisite for success in the world market.
It is worth to mention that the main purpose of this MOU is to upgrade the interaction between ECCIMA and Esfahan University in order to clarify the future of province economic condition, to identify and troubleshoot the existing problems of economic activists, as well as enhancing university professors capabilities in the fields of industry, mining, agriculture, trade and services which can be followed by the suggestions and solutions of the problems and improvement of the indicators of the business environment.
