In this session which was organized by effort of International Marketing and Relations Department of Esfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), a business delegation from Yunnan- China has been received. The members of this delegation were from China Council for International Promotion-Yunnan Sub Council (CCPIT), department of Tourism, and numbers of Chinese businessmen.
Bahram Sobhani, Vice president of ECCIMA, stated that regarding the trade opportunities between two countries, one of the most important issue is the financial exchange.
Vice president of ECCIMA, mentioned to the long standing relationship between Iran and China and explained that currently only one bank from China works with Iran and the government of both countries are negotiating to overcome this issue.
Following that, Lio Qilin, Chairman of CCPIT and head of the delegation, described the economic situation of Yunnan province and said: “Today the most common export from Iran to China are food products, carpets, nuts, saffron, date, and different types of handicrafts.
Chairman of CCPIT emphasized that the main purpose of their visit to Esfahan is to develop trade and tourism relations between two provinces and to invite businessmen/women from Esfahan for participating in the international exhibition of Yunnan. He stated: “Yunnan province is ready for exchanging knowledge and experience in the field of green energy and for accepting students from Iran to educate in these subjects.”
