The Romanian ambassador met and talked with the president of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce

Economic interactions between Isfahan and Romania are developing

Mirela Carmen Greco, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania, met with the president and some members of the bord of representatives of Chamber of Commerce.
According to the public relations report of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, in this meeting, Amir Keshani, the president of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, stated: Isfahan is known as one of the largest and most important provinces of the country with many economic capacities, and rich in industrial and agriculture products and well known as a tourism hub of the country.
He continued: Throughout history, the followers of different religions have lived in peace and security in Isfahan and have not experienced any tension among them, the reason for which Isfahan is called the city of peace in the Middle East. This city with its great economic potential is ready for cooperation with other countries and business activists.
“I got pleased with the activity of the women in the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce”
Mirela Carmen Greco, the ambassador of the Republic of Romania, stated in this meeting: “I love Isfahan and this city is dear to me. Isfahan and Romania have similarities in some areas. For instance, carpets produced in Isfahan and Romania share some similarities”.
She added: We are looking to expand cooperation and increase business relations with Iran and Isfahan in specific and we will make efforts in this field. We should look for ways to increase cooperation in order to achieve the best results, with Isfahan having good economic capacities.
I am very pleased with the activity of women in the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and we hope that this attention to women activities will be continued. I am the first Romanian lady ambassador in Iran and this fact is interesting to me. I was interested in traveling to Isfahan and I am happy to be here.
She further stated: We will try to increase the communication between the scientific centers of Isfahan and Romania. Isfahan and Yash (Romania) can strengthen their economic exchanges. These two cities can have more interactions with each other in the field of tourism. Definitely, with the cooperation of the chambers of commerce, bilateral trade can take good steps in the path of economic development.
She said: “The true Iran is quite different from what is shown by some media”.
Isfahan Chamber' Commerce’s readiness to cooperate with Romanian female economic activists.
Mozhgan Izadi, a member of the board of representatives and the head of the Tourism, Handicrafts and Carpets Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, said: “The intention of the Supreme Council of Women of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce is looking into communicating with all women entrepreneurs around the world and we welcome any expansion of cooperation with the women of Romania”.
She emphasized: “We are trying to show the security and peace of Iran to the world and neutralize the negative propaganda against our country. For this purpose, the event of 100 tour operators of the world will be held in Isfahan in a short time, and we invite the tour operators from Romania to participate in this event”.
Sayed Vahid Dezfuli, a member of the board of representatives and the head of the agricultural commission of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, also stated in this meeting: “There has been a good business history between Iran and Romania, and Romanian tractors are well known in Iran. Therefore, good cooperation between the two countries can be established and expanded in the field of agriculture”.
