Italian Ambassador in a visit to ECCIMA:

Italy ready to further develop economic ties with Iran

“Despite the imposed economic sanction against Iran, Italian SMEs spared no effort to find a safe business cooperation with Iran”, Italian ambassador directed.
Giuseppe Perrone, in his recent meeting with the board members of Isfahan Chamber of commerce, reiterated that Italy is eager to develop ties with Iran in various sectors including economic, scientific and training spheres and uncovered the new joint cooperation of Italy-Iran, to be inaugurated in coming days."
Introducing Isfahan as the second hub of Iranian industry Masoud Golshirazi, president of ECCIMA, pointed that ”Iran's export rate has increased and the unemployment rate decreased during the recent rates, although we faced many problems due to sanctions imposed after the unilateral removal of the US from JCPOA”.
Referring to the recent bilateral ties, President of ECCIMA focused on the role of chambers of commerce and asked for the active participation of Italian embassy and economic NGOs to develop the current situation.
