Referring the proposal made by the previous Ambassador of Spain in Tehran, whereby H.E pointed out the advantage accessing the European and Spanish market via the commercial port of Barcelona, Amir Keshani said: Coordination and necessary measures have been taken to send a high-ranking commercial and economic delegation from the industrial province of Isfahan to the city of Barcelona to establish fruitful relations and business interactions with their Spanish counterparts.

Your desire to develop communication and expand relations with Spain and Catalonia is actually one of the duties and an important part of the embassy's plans, and in the commercial department of the embassy, we have detailed studies and reviews to understand the fields of cooperation between the two countries. Therefore, sending a business delegation to Barcelona from the city of Isfahan, which alone has the capacities of a country, and establishing a business cooperation office between Isfahan and Barcelona is a very interesting idea and it can definitely lead to very good events.
Referring to the familiarity and understanding of Muslim culture and paying attention to the issues of the Middle East, he added: Looking at no further than 10 years back, we had a very good level of business relations with each other. We are sure that with the presence of this delegation and the plan to open a representative office in Barcelona to have a joint business cooperation, and with respect to the intentions of the new government in Iran, it should not be too difficult to revive the business glory of a decade back.
