Istanbul is one of the big and important cities of Türkiye and is considered our neighbor and friend country. Hence we look forward to the expansion of interactions with this city.
He continued: Isfahan is a historical city and has good positions in the country in the production of various products including steel, gold, textiles, dairy products, etc. It has various capacities to expand cooperation with foreign parties and attract investors. Isfahan and Istanbul have a lot in common, especially in the cultural field, so good steps can be taken to increase cooperation between the two cities.
In this meeting, "Shakib Avdagij", the president of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, while welcoming and expressing his satisfaction with the presence of the members of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, introduced the members present at the meeting and added: "We are very happy about your presence in the Istanbul Chamber and are ready to expand cooperation with Isfahan chamber as much as possible”. H.E. Erdoğan, the President of Türkiye, also emphasizes the expansion of economic relations with Iran, and this is a sign of Iran's important position in economic and trade exchanges. Considering the importance of this meeting, we have attended this meeting with a high-ranking team and we want to develop business activities between Isfahan and Istanbul.
Stating that Isfahan is one of the most important economic cities in Iran, he added: We are very pleased to understand that the 2^nd ACD meeting is being held in Isfahan that is welcomed. I am very interested in having a trip to Isfahan and get to know the many capacities and abilities of this city, and we will definitely try to travel to Isfahan with a business delegation soon.
The head of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce added: The parties should try to increase the volume of economic exchanges between Isfahan and Istanbul, and considering the capabilities of both sides, achieving a high level of exchanges is predictable.
Mohammad Jaafar Foudeh, vice-chairman and member of the board of representatives of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, also said in this meeting: with respect to the capabilities of livestock and agricultural companies in Isfahan, it is suggested that commercial tourism be established for interested companies between the two cities, so that we can use the capacities of the companies on both sides.
Mohammad Reza Golahmad, member of the board of representatives and head of the International Council of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, also said: Isfahan is a city that is known in the world and has many capabilities, that's why the trade capacity between Istanbul and Isfahan is high.
Pointing out that every day more than 50 flights are made from different cities of Iran to Istanbul, he emphasized: A good platform for business exchanges has been provided and we should be able to use this capacity to improve the commercial capabilities of the parties.
Pointing out that economic activists play a very important role in the development of business and tourism relations, he emphasized that the importance of trade and tourism in the city of Isfahan can play an effective role for the relations in between the two region. Since there are direct daily flights from Iranian cities, including Isfahan, to Istanbul, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce places special emphasis on the tourism of this city.
He emphasized: the potential of Isfahan tourism should be used, because Isfahan still needs to be introduced to Turkish people in order to attract tourists. We request the officials of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce to hold a special meeting on the development of the tourism industry to strengthen the relationship between the two countries on the sidelines of the meeting of the presidents of the chambers of commerce of Asian countries that will be held in Isfahan in April.
