This university was founded by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce with a history of 20 years and it is considered the first smart university in Turkey by accepting students from 49 countries in the fields of medicine, tourism, architecture, technical and engineering, fashion and clothing, para medicine and calinary. This university has a good position in the ranking of the top European universities and has 10,000 students, including 320 foreign students. 39% of foreign students of Izmir University of Economics are from Iran and all courses are taught in English.

In this meeting, the head of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce called for the expansion of interactions between the Isfahan Chamber and the Izmir Chamber and expressed some of the economic capacities and capabilities of Isfahan province, receiving joint business delegations, cooperation in the field of exhibition activities and the development of economic exchanges were among the points that the heads of the chambers Isfahan and Izmir emphasized on their expansion.
The method of validating the member companies of the two chambers of commerce was also examined and it was decided that both sides should cooperate with each other in resolving commercial disputes. He called the Izmir Exhibition Center the most modern and the largest exhibition center in Turkey, consisting of 300 employees and an executive team, which hosts 35 domestic and international exhibitions in different product groups.
