The economic diplomacy of the parliament of the private sector of Isfahan is expanding the interactions between Isfahan and Izmir Chambers of Commerce

An economic delegation consisting of some officials of the Chamber of Commerce and city managers of Isfahan visited Izmir city and examined the ways of expanding economic interactions and exchanges between these two cities.

By participating in the opening ceremony of the Izmir International Tourism Trade Fair, these delegations got a close look at the world's view of the tourism industry, especially health tourism. In this ceremony, which was attended by high-ranking officials of the public and private sectors of Turkey and several other countries, the increasing development of the tourism industry and its role in economic prosperity and increasing convergence between countries were emphasized.
The unique capacities of Isfahan in the tourism industry, along with the consultations that have taken place, caused the development of exhibition cooperation with the Izmir Exhibition Center, especially in the tourism industry, to be put on the agenda.
This exhibition was held in 6,000 square meters of space and with the presence of various tourism departments, including hotels, travel agencies, and hospitals with the ability to attract health tourists, etc.

In addition to visiting the Izmir International Business Tourism Exhibition, the Isfahan delegation also visited the International University of Izmir. Focusing on economic, commercial and cultural goals, this delegation also had a meeting with the president of the university and examined the capacities of this complex.

In this meeting, the establishment and launch of the specialized faculty of Persian language, exchange of students and professors, provision of scientific opportunities and sharing of experiences and knowledge were discussed and emphasized. This university was founded by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce with a history of 20 years and it is considered the first smart university in Turkey by accepting students from 49 countries in the fields of medicine, tourism, architecture, technical and engineering, fashion and clothing, para medicine and calinary. This university has a good position in the ranking of the top European universities and has 10,000 students, including 320 foreign students. 39% of foreign students of Izmir University of Economics are from Iran and all courses are taught in English.

In continuation of the international diplomacy and field visits of the Isfahan economic delegation in Izmir, while visiting Esbash Free Zone of Izmir and examining its commercial and economic capacities, a meeting was held with the CEO of Esbash Zone, Dr. Farouk. In this meeting, which was attended by the president of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, some members of the chamber's delegation, the CEO of Isfahan Exhibitions Company and some city managers and economic activists of the province, the opportunities for cooperation between Isfahan and Izmir, the conditions for attracting foreign investment, The way of providing services and executive management of the free zone and the features and privileges available in the free zone were discussed.

Launching a direct flight line between Isfahan and Izmir, establishing and launching Isfahan's specialized desk in Izmir and vice versa, developing exhibition cooperation, developing investment in the two cities, creating a suitable environment for businessmen and traders of the two cities to get to know each other and exchange experiences in the field of foreign investment and trade exchanges, was one of the most important topics of conversation.
Large and reputable European companies are operating in the Esbash commercial area, and the significant presence of knowledge-based companies in this area is also noteworthy.

Visiting the Chamber of Commerce and meeting with the President of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce was another plan of the Isfahan economic delegation during its trip to this important city.

In this meeting, the head of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce called for the expansion of interactions between the Isfahan Chamber and the Izmir Chamber and expressed some of the economic capacities and capabilities of Isfahan province, receiving joint business delegations, cooperation in the field of exhibition activities and the development of economic exchanges were among the points that the heads of the chambers Isfahan and Izmir emphasized on their expansion.

The method of validating the member companies of the two chambers of commerce was also examined and it was decided that both sides should cooperate with each other in resolving commercial disputes. Izmir Chamber of Commerce operates with 2000 members in 80 business and economic groups. Izmir has many capacities in the field of stone, agriculture and textile industries.
Meeting with the CEO of Izmir Exhibition Center was another program of the Isfahan economic delegation during their trip to Turkey.

Mrs. Janan, CEO of Izmir Exhibition Center, expressed her satisfaction with the presence of the main decision-makers of Isfahan Exhibitions Center in Izmir, and proudly described the expansion of exhibition cooperation between Izmir and Isfahan as an important and effective step. He called the Izmir Exhibition Center the most modern and the largest exhibition center in Turkey, consisting of 300 employees and an executive team, which hosts 35 domestic and international exhibitions in different product groups.

Amir Keshani, the president of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, also explained the capacities of Isfahan and called the development of exhibition cooperation the most important step in shortening the distances and creating the basis for the sisterhood of Isfahan and Izmir. In this meeting, it was decided that the two cities of Isfahan and Izmir should have wider cooperation with each other regarding exhibition activities.
The meeting with the Iran-Aegean Cooperation Association was the end of the delegation's presence in Izmir, Turkey.
