Economic Researches

Economic Researches

Introduction of the unit

The goal of economic research at the ECCIM is to provide a strong applied and empirical basis for policy-making and to better communicate policy to the markets and the public.

High-quality research is essential to ensuring that the ECCIMA and its members are well informed and equipped with global economic and business information to cope with the unprecedented challenges associated with conducting a single trade policy.

The DER commits significant resources to research because good research is the foundation of good policy. Economic, financial, and trade research is conducted by the DER, along with other business areas of the Chamber’s interests, in the favor of the members. Research is carried out under the umbrella of DER supervision, fostering cooperation and coordination.

Benefiting from the latest scientific theories, especially in the fields of international trade, macroeconomics, transportation economics, environmental economics, and energy economics, this unit tries to find practical solutions for the problems in different sectors, including commerce, industry, mining, and agriculture in Isfahan Province.
