Introduction:
Carpet is a one of the necessities and goods in human life, which is well appreciated throughout the history. Hand-woven carpet is one of the ancient Iranian handicrafts, well known in the world, paying attention to preserving the authenticity of this native art, its production and export to gain a higher market share and the prosperity of entrepreneurship in the field of authentic handicrafts, are among the importance of this issue to be considered.
From this point of view and for the purpose of organizing related matters and maintaining balance and order and providing the possibility of making more use of investment and production, using and transferring the scientific and practical experiences of the activists, this association is formed under Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
Objectives:
- Obtaining information related to supply and demand and price, to create a databank and provide information through members’ a network,
- Group participation in decision-making to propose ideas based on the association’s prospects,
- Establishing relations with banks and credit organizations of the country as well as international financial and monetary organizations, in accordance with the rules, to facilitate and expand financial services to members,
- Publication of specialized books, magazines and brochures,
- Carrying out scientific and research in relation to the local and international missions,
- Encouraging Joint investment opportunities in production and exports,
- Providing legal services and advice in protection of their rights,
- Sending and hosting business delegations to and from business target countries,
- Compile and implement required standards and perform quality controls,
- Organizing training sessions required by members,
- Organize and attend local and international exhibitions,
- Provide legal information in favor of protecting the quality of products, and warning against using non-standard materials in cooperation with responsible institutions and organizations,
- Protecting the intellectual writes of the producers’ brands,
- Providing legal consulting services,
Membership:
- Iranian nationality,
- Valid commercial or membership card of ECCIM,
- Isfahan province,
- Production and exploitation licenses with a validity period of at least 3 months from,
- Mining Industry and Trade,
- Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts,
- Ministry of Labor Cooperation and Social Welfare,
- Handmade carpets such as export cottages or related export programs up to three months before the date of request,
- Acceptance and commitment to comply with the provisions of the Articles of Association,
- Payment of entrance fee and annual membership,
- Completing the request form for the official membership of the association
Affiliated members:
- Activists in the field of handmade carpet production who do not have the full membership requirements, but receive consulting services,
- Honorary members: outstanding and advanced people who are approved for scientific consistency and use of their experiences
