A Brief Background of Its Establishment
Foundation bases of "Businessmen Association" in Isfahan root back to over 100 years ago which was a valuable motivation in establishing the "Chamber of Commerce" in 1931.
By the collective efforts of Isfahan artisans "Chamber of Industry" was also formed, which was later merged with the "Chamber of Commerce" in 1970.
In 2012 the name of “Chamber of Industry” changed to "Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture", referred to as "ECCIMA".
ECCIMA was awarded as "The Best Local Chamber" (Big Chamber Category) by The Confederation of Asia – Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) in October 2012, in recognition of its outstanding achievement in promoting the industrial, commercial and social well-being of its community, and in supporting the chamber movement in region.
It was also the finalist in 2017 World Chambers Competition, selected 2nd in Best CSR project.
