Aiming to have a great contribution to trade promotion and the development of Isfahan Province economy, Isfahan Chamber of Commerce arranged a business delegation have meetings with heads of the chambers of commerce, entrepreneurs and business people in Italy.
Aiming to have a great contribution to trade promotion and the development of Isfahan Province economy, Isfahan Chamber of Commerce arranged a business delegation headed by Mr. S. A. Sahlabadi, the president of ECCIMA to have meetings with heads of the chambers of commerce, entrepreneurs and business people in Italy.
On Friday, Dec 4, 2015, in a meeting with Pier Luigi d' Agata, Secretary General of Italy-Iran joint Chamber of Commerce in Rome, Mr. Sahlabadi, pointing to gradual lifting of Iran’s nuclear-related international sanctions, said that many economic analysts and experts believe that Iran's economy would grow very fast, and the investors from all over the world eye Iran and arrange meetings with their Iranian counterparts to ensure not to miss out the huge potential the this market has to offer. He added that exchanging business delegations and setting joint exhibitions are the means to provide other countries with knowledge of potential fields of investment in Iran.
He also said: “Isfahan Province shares good memories of Italy’s investments in Mobarakeh Steel Company, one of the largest steel manufacturer companies in Iran, and we hope to develop our commercial relations by investing in and taking benefit from Isfahan potentials in various commercial fields such as agriculture, mines and industries. Isfahan province also welcomes and supports foreign investments in tourism industries and we consider tourist exchange between historical cities of Isfahan and Rome as an approach to boosting both sides economy”.
Mr. Agata, said; “Iran and Italy enjoyed a very good commercial relation in the past’’, and pointing to the fact that all of Italian commercial trades and businesses with the countries of target are coordinated and supervised by Italian chambers of commerce of the regions, he said; “we would be pleased to play a role in rebuilding our bilateral relations with Iran’’.
In response to Sahlabadi’s request on direct business communications with Italy-Iran chamber, d’ Agatta welcomed Isfahan delegation’s proposal on having direct cooperation with Isfahan chamber of commerce to be tabled at board meeting on December 11.
During this business trip, Isfahan delegation was invited to pay a visit to Danieli steel manufacturing company, and Elahi Steel Company. They also had meeting with representatives of Water and Soil Remediation Company and Maire Technimont Company.
